Hi, I'm Hollie

—a San Diego artist, animal lover, trail runner, backpacker, and all-around outdoors enthusiast with a curious streak that keeps pulling me toward something new. I’m vintage-inspired at heart, drawn to things with a bit of history, grit, and soul. I’m especially captivated by landscapes—particularly the ones I find in the mountains and along the trails, which are my favorite places to be.

The photos I take while running ultras or trekking through the backcountry often become references for my oil paintings, and sometimes I turn them into negatives to make cyanotypes, letting those moments live on in a different form. I work across a range of mediums—oil, cyanotype, collage, ceramics—not because I can’t choose, but because each one offers a different way to explore an idea. I’m in love with the process of creating: getting in the flow, going with the flow, experimenting, and learning as I go. I’m a forever student, and I try to bring that openness and curiosity into everything I make.

Art, for me, is a way to slow down and pay attention—to notice the small, beautiful, absurd, and deeply human moments in the world. I’m grateful to share it with others, and happy you’re here exploring along with me.
